Defra Secretary Liz Truss is hosting 80 leading food and farming representatives at Defra’s headquarters today to kick-start discussions on a 25-year plan for the industry.
Among the key areas of discussion will be ways to strengthen the British brand for food, increase exports and boost farm productivity.
Developed by the College’s Centre for Agricultural Innovation working in partnership with farmers and industry experts, the programme identifies key skill shortages within the agricultural industry.
