Heritage Planning in the World Heritage Site

We were pleased to have been able to obtain planning permission for a site in World Heritage Site on Bodmin Moor on behalf of a client and her family who had been struggling with the project since the 1980’s without success. The site was further complicated by the fact that part of it was owned by Duchy of Cornwall’s estate and thefore formal notice had to be served prior to planning. Part of the site also included a bridleway. The permission allowed for a more practical farm entrance drive as the previous historic access was not accessible for the emergency services. The permission included a watching brief by an archeologist while works were under construction. We wlso asssited with discharing the planning conditions once the archeological work had been completed.
